The new format of monsters/characters statistics block has been introduced with publication of Dungeon Masters Guide II and Monster Manual IV and I found it's quite nice. There are already some people trying to provide d20 monsters in this format, and I also wanted to join them using XML + XSLT.
I am trying to make xml files easy to understand for both humans and computers. I wish any of you would make a program that parse those data and provide filters so that you could easily find a monster you need. I wish you would copy-and-paste it in your own adventure so that you would never forget your monster had actually resistance to fire 10.
The format is under construction and will get better as more samples are added.
